BlackApple was originally founded as  "Ian Brown EDV Beratung" - an IT consulting company in Stuttgart, Germany in 1984 to assist IBM with testing, configuration and usability for multi-platform office automation development.

Having taken some time in full-time employment Ian returned to the UK and relaunched the company as BlackApple Consulting in 1995. BlackApple has enjoyed a debt-free, independent period of growth since then culminating in record turnover/growth in 2006/2007.

2008/9 has been difficult for many companies but our flexibility and low cost base make us ideally placed to offer high value services at outstanding prices. We continue to be profitable and debt-free through this difficult period and look forward to further sucess.

We are small company based on big company experience and standards: most of our consultants have worked for blue-chip organisations before joining BlackApple and bring their own unique blend of experience and skills to the service we offer.
